ISS believes that care providers should be able to focus on care, and that IT should exist only to assist in this.

 

CareSys as an application has been designed to help, but ISS can remove the whole issue of maintaining IT systems by providing a fully managed solution.

 

Incorporated in the managed solution is data hosting at our shared data centre, which is optimised for absolute maximum performance across multiple locations using the internet – a feature that CareSys is uniquely designed to take advantage of.

 

ISS also provides on-site services to manage and maintain computer equipment, allowing our customers who take these options to have a fully outsourced system.
  

 Care Consultancy

As with CareSys software the philosophy of ISS is to provide organisations with the services and tools that will help providers develop and improve the operation of their homes. We are able to provide advice to many areas of the sector including Frail Elderly, Dementia, Mental Illness and Learning Disability.

 

Our unique position within the market allows us to help in compliance. Some of the services provided include:

 

    * Manager mentoring services

    * Independent complaints investigation

    * Adult protection issues

    * Supervision of managers

    * Representing providers in discussions with CSCI

    * Annual email support for providers and managers

    * Audits to establish level of compliance

    * Assistance with Annual Quality Audit Assessments (AQAA)

    * Regulation 26 visits

    * Registration and commissioning of new care homes

    * Guidance on new build design specification

 

The Consultancy service is delivered by a former care home manager, current registered nurse and a long serving ex-CSCI inspection team leader.
